What a memorable Memorial Day!!!!

We had such a great time at Camp New Hope. What an incredible way to recharge your batteries and let the boys have some new experiences all at the same time.

I will upload some photos to the photo site so that you can see for yourself. Beautiful country, fresh air, great company. Randy Brown is the Camp Director and she made a PHENOMENAL(those of you who are sports fans will recognize the Jim Rome reference) experience for us. The camp caters to families of chronically ill or terminally ill children, to help them experience some things that they may not get to experience otherwise. There were a multitude of activities provided including canoes, paddleboat, campfire, fishing, sporting equipment, a walk along the river, just to name a few. And the view from the top of the mountain is spectacular. If you have or know of a special needs child that you think might enjoy this type of experience please contact us and we will get you in touch with Randy!

I am married to Wendy and dad to two boys Brandon and Jeremy with Juvenile Batten Disease, a fatal neurodegenerative childhood disorder. I am also active with the Batten Disease Support and Research Association.
