End of Summer

Wow, has it really been three weeks since you last heard from me? Honestly, we have not been doing anything much for the last three weeks other than trying to relax. Everyone in the family but Jeremy has been to the Dr. in the last week, sinus infections, viruses and whipworms(Cubby). The boys(translation-MOM and DAD) are ready for summer to be over and school to begin. We go over this afternoon with Mr Ian and Mrs. Bunn to the new Odell Elementary building to begin to learn our way around, school starts next Monday. Brandon seems to be getting a little more forgetful, having a hard time recalling vocabulary words that he knows. The good thing is that he is typically surrounded by people who understand what he is going through and are patient with him. Thank you all for understanding!

Thank you for all the recipes we have received so far, it’s not to late if you still want to send one in!

The boys have been enjoying our new patio furniture, thought I would share a picture.

I am married to Wendy and dad to two boys Brandon and Jeremy with Juvenile Batten Disease, a fatal neurodegenerative childhood disorder. I am also active with the Batten Disease Support and Research Association.

Those two sons of your are too cute! I love the picture of them “enjoying” the new patio furniture. Good luck as school begins again soon. Hope all is well.
