Horse trainer and first days of school

We had a wonderful experience this past Saturday thanks to a coworker of mine, Linda. Her family owns a horse and she and Joanna invited us to bring the boys out to ride Mac(short for Mr. McDreamy). The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves riding Mac, he is such a good boy! But what was really neat to see is how they took in the whole experience, smells of the barn, greeting the other horses, washing down Mac after riding him, and brushing down Hercules one of the other horses. Brandon now has decided that he wants to capture a wild horse and have him for his own(Cubby qualifies in my opinion, lol). He even had Ms Smith his aide at school help him look up information about horses on the internet today.

The boys have enjoyed their first two days of school, however they are very disappointed that the bus did not arrive in time for them to ride it(Mom and Dad had to go to work) Hopefully the kinks are worked out and traffic cooperates so they can get on the bus tomorrow!

I am married to Wendy and dad to two boys Brandon and Jeremy with Juvenile Batten Disease, a fatal neurodegenerative childhood disorder. I am also active with the Batten Disease Support and Research Association.
