"I know son, I know"

Tonight Brandon told Wendy that he felt bad because he was too slow to keep up with the other kids at the afterschool program, today they had to send two kids back to help him. Tonight at bedtime, Jeremy told me “Daddy, I can’t see things that are far away.” What could I say other than, “I know son, I know.”
