Kids Blitz Live

We had a blast at Crossroads on Sunday night with a biblical based Nickelodeon style kids ministry event called Kids Blitz Live. I am jealous of Donnie Slade that he gets to to this for a living. Check out their website at http://www.kidzblitz.com/. It should be a sin to have that much fun at church!!!!!! It was a nice way to end a long day. Earlier that evening Brandon had a mini seizure and really could not feel his feet. He had to lay down on the couch and when he told Wendy he couldn’t feel his feet she grabbed the letter opener and started rubbing it up and down the bottom of his foot, he never flinched.

He and Jeremy are both pretty bored with summer already, but we have excitement coming on Wednesday as I am traveling to Raleigh to fly out to Denver for the BDSRA conference and Brandon is having 4 teeth removed in the afternoon. On Friday our friend Bob Cook is taking Wendy and the boys to Winston Salem to the Low Vision Clinic for an evaluation.

Jeremy actually rode his bike for the first time in months today which was great, but his eyes are still going so fast that those rides may not last very long either. We never stop them from trying to do things that they want to do unless it poses a danger to them or to others, but sometimes it is hard to sit back and watch.

Brandon and Jeremy are both talking about our trip to MN in August, they are excited about seeing their cousins again.

Ta Ta for Now!

or as my Grandmother used to say “Toodles!!!!!”
